I'm off to Boston for a youth soccer tournament with the Not My Fault daughter this weekend, but there's something we should all take a few minutes to do this weekend...
I rarely get political here, and generally dance around controversy, but I happen to think Jimmy Carter is a mealy-mouthed, squishy, squeamish buffoon. And apparently I'm not the only one that thinks that.

Last summer I read The Smartest Guys in the Room, which was a brilliant page-turner, and Conspiracy of Fools, which was only slightly less so. I read them back to back, so the actual conviction was pretty much fait accompli for me, but it's still the biggest business news story of the year, so far.
Yes, it's been a little while, as was recently pointed out to me. Been caught up in work stresses and other responsibilities, including one big one. But that's just excuses, isn't it...
