When the historically hyper-liberal Dutch start promoting government austerity and budget cutbacks, you know socialism has pretty much jumped the shark.

Seems like there's too much heat and moisture for that to be effective, but I could say the same for the bottle of beer...

In no way would I ever, ever advocate a return to the shorts athletes wore in the 70's and 80's. But if you get tackled and your shorts fall off, it might be an indication that they're a tad too long...
