Richard Nacht has a great post in which he calls out Quicken Loans self-serving "advise" to refinance every year. He notes the importance of reducing debt as you approach retirement, which is much better advise.

About Me
- Name: Ron
- Location: United States
I work back office operations for a major software tech company, doing facilities and real estate management. I also help administrate youth soccer in my town and am a nationally licensed soccer coach. The Not My Fault daughter plays premier soccer, which means I have to care for her whacked out black lab. In college, I worked at a campground in the summer and tended bar at a townie dive in the winter and played soccer all the time.
