Whoa. The guy that invented the concept of the album cover just passed away...seems like that would be pretty big news as far as pop iconography goes. Could anyone really imagine the evolution of music through the decades without album covers? Could we imagine never have known this, for example? Or this? Or this? I could go on and on, but you get my drift...
